PET URINE AND ODOR REMOVAL
With our full submersion cleaning method, we can remove pet odor or pet urine accidents. It is however important to treat pet odor or pet urine as soon as possible to prevent permanent dye destabilization or fiber damage.
The Ultimate Rug Dusting And Cleaning Service
Step 1: Inspection and Testing
We will determine as much as we possibly can about the type of rug and inherent qualities that may affect cleaning. We will outline the expected results and give your rug a cleaning “prescription”.
Step 2: Dry Soil Removal
Woven rugs, especially hand knotted rugs are designed to hide dry soil. We use a variety of techniques to “dust” the rugs from the front and back. Our Rug Badger is a specialized machine used to remove locked in soils. Harnessing over 40,000 harmonic vibrations a minute, our RugBadger Pro will vibrate out even the most stubborn soil and sediments caught deep in the fibers of any area rug.
Step 3: Pre-Condition
Depending on fiber content and soiling type, the rug will be treated with a cleaning solution specifically designed for it to emulsify the soils.
Step 4: Pre-Spot and Fringe Preparation
Any potentially difficult spots will be pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal. The fringe is also pre-treated for maximum soil removal. (This does not necessarily whiten the fringe. We offer fringe whitening as an additional service.)
Step 5: Massaging Rug Bath
Most rugs are cleaned in our full submersion wash pit by hand using a specialty Oriental Rug Shampoo that is especially designed to maximize cleaning results while protecting sensitive natural fibers and dyes.
Step 6: Full Immersion Rinse
Depending on the type of rug it will be rinsed with a zero residue rinse in a wash pit designed especially for Oriental Rugs.
Step 7: Vortex Speed Dry
Once the soil is rinsed away, the rug is dried flat or hung to dry in a controlled environment.
Step 8: Finishing
When the rug is dry, it is combed and finished with soft groomers made for specialty rugs.
Step 9: Inspected to Guarantee Amazing Results!
Our cleaning specialist will give the rug a final inspection and release it for delivery or pick up. Your rug will be wrapped in brown craft paper to protect it from dust and environmental soils during transport.
